Visually Speaking

I started out wanting to be a writer, but a chance encounter with Adobe InDesign in high school yearbook sparked something different. I realized I could still tell stories, just visually. Since then, my path has taken me from designing publications and websites to leading the creative direction of an award-winning beverage brand. No matter the medium, my focus remains the same: clear, intentional design rooted in storytelling.

Mocktails Uniquely Crafted

My longest-standing design partnership, Mocktails Uniquely Crafted, is a true evolution story. What began in 2013 with a simple ad design for a trade show event has grown into a full creative leadership role, guiding the brand’s visual voice across every touchpoint. From packaging and photography to e-commerce platforms and pitch decks, I’ve shaped the way the world sees (and sips) this award-winning non-alcoholic beverage brand.

Automatit

At Automatit, I started as a graphic designer who learned how to design custom websites for the self-storage industry. Not too long after, I transitioned into a leadership role where I mentored other designers who came after me, being the main point of contact with clients in the workflow process, QA mockups to coded projects, and helped refine internal processes. I handled everything from client research and concept development to final site design and style guides for devs to follow. I helped balance creativity with strategy while collaborating closely with our dev team and project manager to deliver websites that looked great, performed well, and most importantly (to me at least), made our clients happy.

Oser Communications Group

My first job right out of college was at a company called Oser Communications Group. I designed print ads, table cards, and learned how to work on publication layouts for industry trade shows and gourmet food and kitchenware-focused magazines. I collaborated with the creative and project management teams to brainstorm and execute multiple projects simultaneously, worked directly with clients on ad approvals, and ensured high-quality output through careful proofreading and prepress preparation.
